Big Leaps and Brave Hearts at Gumnut Gardens!
At Gumnut Gardens, we love seeing our little explorers test their limits. Recently, our natural rock area became the perfect stage for a masterclass in resilience and risk assessment.
After watching their peers jump from the large rocks, one of our young learners took a thoughtful approach to the challenge. Instead of rushing in, they spent time observing—carefully studying how others landed and balanced.
Building Confidence, One Step at a Time:
The Start: They began by sliding down from a lower point to get comfortable.
The Growth: Step by step, they moved higher as their confidence grew.
The Triumph: Soon, they were leaping from the top with a proud shout for their educator to "Watch this!"
This moment was about more than just a jump. It was about developing the physical awareness and self-belief that helps children tackle any "mountain" they encounter.
We are so proud of this display of bravery and persistence!
