I am a Wiradjuri man from the Bogan Valley River People of Peak Hill in Central Western New South Wales.
I am a traditionally taught Aboriginal Australian and have been painting and drawing since the age of 7 and have had a traditional upbringing.
My maternal grandfather is a Torres Strait Islander man from Thursday Island in the Torres Strait Islands.
I have studied my Cert 3, Cert 4 and diploma in music at Eora Tafe in Chippendale and also have my Bachelor in Health Sciences focussing on Stolen Generational grief and loss counselling, and Drugs and Alcohol education and awareness. My previous job title was as an Indigenous Youth Worker/Drug and Alcohol counsellor.
As an Aboriginal artist I am excited to have the honour to pass on my Cultural Knowledge to the children of Gumnut Gardens and their families.
